Brand identity for a new coffee roaster from Seattle.
Grounded is a coffee roaster offering a variety of specialty coffee. I collaborated with their team to develop a new visual identity and packaging system for all their coffee ranges. The new brand is a simple and thoughtful concept that uses shapes, patterns and dynamic colors to achieve a memorable and fresh branding system. Each coffee type is assigned to a certain shape and color combination to best reflect its origin. The sans serif typeface works in tandem with the handwritten logo mark to form a modern and approachable look that helps differentiate GCR from other brands.
